MABEL LOC

Ms Mabel Loc, founder of Poise Dance Studio, dedicates in teaching ballet for more than 26 years. She started ballet training in Hong Peng Wa Ballet School of Macau since 8 years old, and passed Royal Academy of Dance Graded Examination. During studying at this school, she performed the solo dance “Dying Swan”, “Giselle – Act II”, classical ballet “Le Grand Pas de Quatre”, “Swan Lake - pas de deux”. Her credentials include: Registered teacher of the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), RAD Silver Swan Licence for Adult, the Australian Conservatoire of Ballet, Progressing Ballet Technique certified teacher, membership of the International Dance Council.

 

Ms Loc was the founder of the Musaeus Art Studio in Macau SAR. In additional to her accomplishments in ballet, she started to learn Broadway Musical with Mohamed Drissi, the artistic director of the Hong Kong 3 Arts Musical Institute. She also participated some drama performances in Macau and Hong Kong. Such as, Associacao de Arte Dramatica de Macau - “The Apartment – by Billy Wilder”, Macau Cultural Centre - “The White Collar Principle Musical”, “The Myth of Fox Musical”, iStage - “Off Key Buddies”, etc. 

 

Since 2014, Ms Loc moved in Vancouver and started to teach ballet in different schools. She also participated in performances as an actress: Dramaonevan – “Caged Beasts”, Fountain Theatre – “Unfaded Lotus”. She was invited to choreograph for Fountain Theatre, Chi Heng Foundation Canada opening dance “Beauty Meets Love” 2017. In 2018, Ms Loc went back to Hong Kong to perform iStage - “Off Key Buddies”.
